Ski's Painting Proves There's Always More To Do With PDCA

Although they are 25-year members of the Painting and Decorating Contractors of America, Ski’s Painting proved there are always new ways to participate in the organization. At the 2nd Annual Paint Ball Award Ceremony in Charleston, Ski’s was presented with their first PDCA National Industry Award: The KILZ Picture it Painted Perfectly Award for a Commercial Interior project.

Color Craftsmen: Moving From Moral Support to Creating an Image

In 2014 Color Craftsmen had the opportunity to showcase their depth of talent on a new construction project. The client wanted a rustic, yet modern feel to the dining room - something that would set it apart from the house and make it a centerpiece to be admired. Color Craftsmen achieved this goal by creating faux finishes that resemble stone, using plaster and other materials to create depth and detail.     

This project won Color Craftsmen the KILZ PDCA Picture it Painted Professionally Award for a Residential Decorative project. For John Bubenik, owner of Color Craftsmen in Missouri, the award means more than just the plaque on the wall. It means something on a personal level that goes beyond the etched name and the recognition.

Conrad Schmitt Studios Uses PDCA National Industry Awards to Strengthen Reputation

Conrad Schmitt Studios, Inc. has been a PDCA Member since 1999. During that time, they have won several national awards, including the 2015 KILZ Picture it Painted Professionally (PIPP) Industry Award for a Commercial Decorative Interior project.

ALLBRIGHT 1-800-PAINTING Humbled by 2015 Humanitarian Award

Each year ALLBRIGHT 1-800-PAINTING donates painting projects as a part of their Paint-It-Forward Charity initiative. In 2015 they donated three projects:

  • The Children’s Hunger Fund
  • The Espinoza family,
  • The Village Tree Preschool

First Time Win is Thrill for PDCA Member Dan Brady Painting

The 2015 Painting and Decorating Awards Ceremony, also known as the Paint Ball, had some veteran award winners, but there were some first time winners as well. Dan Brady Painting and Wood Restoration won their first KILZ Picture it Painted Professionally (PIPP) Industry Award for Residential Exterior Restoration and he loves the benefits of winning a national industry award.
